- NOTE: This backpack weighs 2.8 lbs and is 16" tall, 10" wide, and 6" deep, please make sure this backpack is the appropriate size and weight for you or your child. We strongly suggest you create a cardboard template of the dimensions of this backpack and hold it against the person it is intended for. We offer sizes that will accommodate all! It is also a good idea to approximate the added weight to ensure the person it is intended for can manage it.
- NOTE: This is a Level 3A insert and WILL NOT repel rounds from high caliber rifles like an AR-15.
- Inserts have a level 3A rating and will stop most common handgun rounds (9mm, .38 cal, .380 cal or .22 cal bullets, .40 S&W, .357 magnum, and .44 magnum)

The uniqueness of Leatherback Gear backpacks is that they don't just protect from one direction. When the middle zipper is undone, the backpack separates into two parts with straps in between. What this does, is it turns the backpack into a vest to cover the chest and back. Furthermore, each section has a bulletproof armor insert inside of it that is level 3A certified, meaning it protects from the most common handgun caliber bullets.
